“Career Prospects of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and CS Students in Petroleum Industry: Skills required to succeed”

Dr. Abid Ghous has done MS and PhD in Petroleum Engineering from University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. The main objective of this seminar was to give knowledge about skills required to excel in career specially in multinational companies. It  mainly covered the scope of engineers in the world of petroleum and gas industry and  helped the students to learn from it. Students gained knowledge about how a petroleum engineer is involved in nearly all of the stages of oil and gas evaluation, production and development. Students came to know about the scope of petroleum engineering and the seminar fascinated them about the profession of petroleum engineer.
